FALL TREND: The Military Inspired Jacket

| The military inspired jackets have been one of my most sought out pieces for the fall. I'm not the type to splurge on something, it happens very rarely, so finding one at a good price is getting a little hard. I'd pair the jacket just like Miley did (pictured above), keeping the rest of the outfit plain and adding leather boots, then I'd add a chunky gold necklace. FALL TREND: Oxblood

| Whether you're using the term oxblood or burgundy, it's still the same thing, and coming out as a huge trend. In the fall and winter you can catch me wearing 50% black 99% of the days, so I'm looking forward to branching out a little bit more. You can find practically anything that goes on your body in this oxblood color. What's great about it is that it adds a pop of red to your outfit without being too bold because it's muted out with brown tones which makes it perfect for the cold, dark months. |

Palazzo and Harem?

| There's one thing for sure, you either love them or hate them there is no 'eh' with these. Probably the most controversial pant is the Harem pant which are numbers 4, 5 & 6. Some girls love them, some think they're completely unflattering, or as my mom says they're MC Hammer pants. Very baggy up top but tapered at the bottom and look best with any type of shoe although I don't recommend boots. Ankle booties are fine but anything above the ankle will make you look like your legs have no shape at all. Next is the Palazzo pant (my favorite) which are numbers 1, 2 & 3. They're a loose, wide legged pant that are kind of 70's inspired. Not to be confused with gauchos (gauchos should be illegal). |

NYFW Rebecca Minkoff for Spring 2013

| Since I wasn't blessed to see the Rebecca Minkoff show in real life, stalking it all along the way on the computer is the next best thing. Actually I lied, stalking backstage pictures and previews through her constant Instagram pictures IS the next best thing. The collection was very 60's/70's inspired with florals, tweeds, and wide legs. The hair was tousled and down, and the makeup was natural except for the neon eyeshadow. Heres some of my favorite looks.. |

I'VE BEEN TRENCHED

| I got my first trench coat in Paris when I was 13 at some coat shop by The Lourve, which I still have and wear even though it doesn't fit me too well. Last year I picked up a new trench that actually fits me from Forever21, and a pale pink one from Urban Outfitters which is for the rain. Something about these coats makes you look sophisticated and the second you put them on you're like Nancy Drew. Men and Woman can pull them off and they come in a million styles, colors and materials. Finding one that fits your style is easy. |

| Yes those are my obnoxiously painted blue walls, and a few of my favorite necklaces. I feel like I'm always talking about jewelry but that's because I think it adds so much to an outfit. You can wear a white T and jean shorts and look like the ultimate plain jane but as soon as you put on a huge chunky necklace and stacked bracelets you're transformed. |

Funky Sweaters

| Ever since I saw Francesca Eastwoods high low sweater she wore in "Mrs. Eastwood and Company" i've been so obsessed. I couldn't find a picture of her wearing it but look #7 is almost the same except hers was a different color, a lot more chunky. I recently picked up a high low sweater at Tobi that I love, they have reasonably priced items no matter what style you have. I've been seeing a lot of asymmetric hems, cut outs, and of course high low lately which adds way more style to a grungy winter look. Wanna know where you can get these at? |

Transitional Trends
 Ombre-ing has been huge this spring and summer. Whether you're lightening the tips of your hair, putting crazy colors at the tips, or dip dying and bleaching shorts. It's such a transitional trend, the only difference is changing the color scheme to neutral, mauve colors. |
